The King's Servant
On Monday, masked men entered Pakistan’s National Assembly to kidnap members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). These masked men were likely a combination of Police and Intelligence Personnel deployed by The King’s Servant. That act of fascism was followed by another when Member National Assembly Saadullah Baloch’s Wife and Daughter were kidnapped to force the MNA to vote in favor of a Constitutional Amendment that would extend the tenure of Pakistan’s Depraved Chief Justice. Lets talk about Pakistan Cricket.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is spending close to $100,000 per month on 5 Mentors to revive the fortunes of Pakistan Cricket. Last time I checked, Cricket Mentors are a combination of Mascots and Father Figures. Oddly enough, one of these mentors Sarfaraz Ahmed is still playing. The Others have largely failed in every management role they’ve ever been in. If you’re a Cricket Agent, I encourage you to fix a tent outside PCB Headquarters on behalf of your clients.
But we have to be fair to The King’s Servant. Apart from the Forced Disappearance Bit, the King’s Servant is following a long line of incompetent Political Lackeys and Administrators. For example, Former Chairman Rameez Raja spent approximately $4M on the Pakistan Junior League (PJL). The PJL’s revenue was apparently in the $375,000 range. The King’s Servant is spending Hundreds of Millions of Rupees on the Champions Cup being held in Faisalabad. By the way this isn’t a new concept. The Champions Cup is reiteration of the Pentangular Trophy with Better Marketing and Coverage. It’s also a form of gaslighting towards the uninformed Pakistani Cricket Fan.
Like the PJL before it, the Champions Cup will come and go. Mentors will come and go. The results of course will either remain exactly the same or get worse. And how could they change? Saqlain Mushtaq, the mentor of the Panthers Built a Bowling Attack around Redundant Leg Spinners and thought it was a good idea to open the bowling with Amad Butt. Saqlain was a great player and by all accounts a nice guy. A Team Builder he is not.
One More Thing
Kudos to the people of Faisalabad for filling up the Derelict Iqbal Stadium.
